Incentive To Kill

Disturbia - Rihanna

So there I go again - I’ve watched another movie. Although not your fluffy teen flick or aliens attempting to take over the world, no. I’ve watched a horror film, I know not many people actually like them but you know it’s not real - well, there is psychos out there - and whatever happens in the film shouldn’t effect you later… Okay, I’ll shut up before I freak myself out. ;/ Anyway, I watched Halloween (2007). Now, I’ve seen the original like 8 or something? I don’t know, they went over board with sequels. This one isn’t actually a sequel, it’s a remake therefore I’d been looking forward to watching ever since it came out last year. Never did until now - gosh, you gotta love Movies On Demand - and I must say it was way, way, way better then the original film. It had more a story-line to it. Gave you an incentive to why and what drove Michael Myers to become the killer he is in the movie. My dad however thinks that the original is better - I mean what’s with older people not excepting that things can change and become better? That I really don’t understand.

I must admit, if you don’t like horror movies don’t watch it. Especially if you get nightmares. The good old horror is a lot graphical these days. More blood and violence then the typical “old” style - but if you do love horrors, this is one to put on your list.

On a more lighter note, Newcastle United (football team I support, fyi) has signed a footballer with a very long and complexed name I can’t be bothered to search. Anyway, apparently his nickname is “The Spiderman” because he wears a red mask to celebrate when he scores. Okay, so first Crouch’s weird robotic dance and now this? Sure we’ll be all shouting “Spidey, Spidey” ¬¬ All we need now is Batman, Robin and Superman. Perhaps, then this season we’ll score some goals….
